The county councillors are trying to force Perrywood Primary School to become an Academy against the wishes of parents, staff and Governors.
the local action group, supported by local trade unions is fighting this undemocratic and grossly insensitive move.

- don't trust what those who promote Academies
- Academies lead to selection - so where will YOUR child go when ALL schools are Academies?
We say: a good local school for every child - democractically controlled.
